About the role.
Responsible for facilitating internal Quality Systems audits; supporting and leading 3rd party and customer audits. Interfaces with customers and Corporate contacts and helps to implement continuous improvement processes and programs.
What you’ll be doing.
- Conduct Internal Quality Systems evaluations and support Internal Audit Team.
- Review all third party, customer and internal audit standards to ensure compliance.
- Assist all plant departments with the coordination and preparation of audit information and communicate areas of potential non-compliance.
- Maintain Quality Manual documentation.
- Create and/or maintain internal and North American SharePoint site quality audit corrective action registers. Facilitate follow-up on outstanding non-conformances.
- Facilitate root cause analysis for audit non-conformances; develop and implement corrective action/preventive action.
- Create and update Plover documents as needed, in accordance with Document Control standards.
- Promote job safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision.
What you’ll need to be successful.
- Ability to lead, organize, implement and execute procedures and policies. Complete daily tasks in a timely manner.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills.
- Requires considerable mental skill, initiative, independence and attention to detail.
- Ability to promote and lead the continuous improvement effort.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel software programs. Ability to navigate in quality database programs used.
- Navigate internet search engines and other web-based resources to seek out reference materials and supporting documents.
- Basic knowledge of HACCP/HARPC and general Quality/GMP practices and procedures.
- Occasionally requires physical effort.

Compensation Package: $ - $ Starting at $24.85 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
