Candidates must have proven experience and be dedicated to managing multi-level corporate accounts, preferably in an industrial environment. You must enjoy a challenge, want to be responsible for maintaining and growing customer relationships, driven to seek opportunities to value add wherever possible to meet sales and margin targets and continuously deliver on the customer promise of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering profitable growth and increasing market share using solid business development strategies.
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Managing contractual relationships and providing account leadership on dedicated portfolios.
- Developing systems to support the business, including but not limited to reporting and tracking processes.
- Conducting marketing analysis to identify market trends and developments.
- Establishing and achieving targets and sales goals.
- Negotiating agreements to improve sales performance and volume.
- Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure that business development activities are in line with the strategic direction of the Division.
Your Profile:
- At least 3 years proven experience in managing multi-level corporate accounts in an industrial environment.
- Previous retail industry, industrial and OEM sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability in business development and driving opportunities from concept through to sustainable and profitable sales.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Sound fiscal control and a demonstrated ability in the profitable management of accounts through price management and promotional planning.
- Ability to analyse and prioritise information, distilling it to the critical issues and drawing accurate conclusions.
- Well-developed business acumen and strategic thinking.
- You will competently be able to work under pressure, be self-disciplined and practical.
- The holder of a current driver's licence.
