Introduction:
As an Analog Design Engineer at GlobalFoundries Kolkata, you will work on gallium nitride and other power semiconductor technologies, contributing to design, simulation, layout, and lab debugging of devices and circuits. We are looking for candidates with strong ECE fundamentals, good analytical skills, and some hands-on experience with simulation tools and programming.
Your Job:
· Design, simulate and do layouts of power semiconductor devices and circuits
· Characterize devices and circuits through lab measurements and analysis
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Tech-Development, Validation and Applications teams
· Document work progress through technical reports and presentations and to file patents
· Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by the direct manager
Other Responsibilities:
· Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
· Education: A bachelor’s or a master’s degree in ECE or related field
· Experience: The job opening is for fresh college graduates
· Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent and be in good academic standing
· Language Fluency - English (Written and Verbal)
· Solid understanding of semiconductor devices and analog circuit design
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with simulation and layout tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE)
· Basic programming skills (e.g., Python or SKILL) for data analysis and automation
· Prior internship or project experience in a related domain
· Demonstrated hands-on experience in projects, workplace, or extra-curriculars.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
