Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for performing inspections of finished goods at pre-shipment during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and post shipment after arrival at KE warehouse to ensure compliance with internal specifications and relevant IEC Standards. Testing of material may include but not limited to Mechanical tests, Chemical composition tests and Electrical tests. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control processes, inspection tools, and documentation practices, assisting Lead Quality Assurance in achieving strategic objectives and goals.
Minimum Education
Education (Mandatory)
BE - Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Metallurgy
Education (Preferred)
Trainings & Certifications (Mandatory)
Trainings & Certifications (Preferred)
Implementation of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17025 is preferred.

- Conduct final inspection of materials procured by Transmission and Distribution departments in accordance with specifications.
- Strong understanding of IEC/ASTM/BS standards used for Medium and Low Voltage equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Use measuring tools and equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, screw gauges, paint thickness meter (elcometer) for routine inspections.
- Document inspection results clearly and accurately using inspection reports, checklists, or quality databases.
- Ensure that products meet regulatory and company quality requirements as mentioned in specifications.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support internal and external audits and inspections.
- Awareness of ISO/IEC 17020 for inspections body and ISO/IEC 17025 for laboratory management standards.
- This job demands frequent travelling (domestic and international) due to frequent visits to the vendor’s premises.
- Familiarity with SAP environment specially MM and QM module.
- Continuously seek to improve inspection processes and quality systems.
