Location: London (Hybrid 2 days, with on-site collaboration at client premises)

Engagement: Client-embedded, cross-functional delivery team

Product: Redesigning and rebuilding complex onboarding journeys for wealth management platform 

Start Date: 19th September 2025. 6 month initial contract (likely to extend to 12M +). Immediate interviews. £competitive day rate outside IR35. 

The Role

As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and validating digital solutions in complex and regulated environments. You’ll provide structure and clarity  working with the team and client to create practical frameworks that connect high-level policy intent with business rules, data needs, and the checks required to validate them

With deep financial services domain knowledge, you’ll support delivery teams and stakeholders in tackling areas such as onboarding, KYC, CDD, and suitability. By doing so, you’ll ensure that the solutions we design are not only user-centred but also robust, scalable, and compliant with the latest regulatory expectations.

You’ll build trusted partnerships with stakeholders through subject matter expertise and a relentless focus on quality. By helping clients face into an ever-changing regulatory landscape, you’ll enable them to adopt practical, scalable solutions that ensure operational resilience to future AML directives and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Discipline expertise

• Take responsibility for shaping frameworks that bridge strategic policy with practical implementation, covering everything from business rules to data attributes and the fine detail of field-level verification.
• Collaborate with SMEs and delivery teams to embed regulatory requirements into digital solutions, covering domains such as onboarding, KYC, CDD, and suitability.
• Ensure full lineage from regulatory or policy statements through to business and technical implementation.
• Translate complex business and compliance needs into clear, actionable requirements.
• Champion quality and structured analysis to drive delivery outcomes that balance compliance with simplicity and speed.

Influence our clients

• Build strong and trusted partnerships with stakeholders by bringing subject matter expertise and clarity to complex regulatory challenges.
• Help clients address evolving financial services regulation with practical and future-proof solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and reshape value-driven roadmaps.
• Communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, simplifying complexity and enabling clear decision-making.

Team 

• Share domain knowledge and approaches to requirements analysis with colleagues to strengthen our capability in regulated industries.
• Mentor team members on structuring business problems and embedding compliance into delivery.
• Support teams in creating solutions that deliver value quickly without compromising on regulatory or operational resilience.
• Foster a culture of rigour, clarity, and collaboration.
• Champion Red Badger’s approach to embedding compliance, architecture, and security into agile delivery.

Your Experience

It’d be great if

• You have a proven track record of working in financial services, with exposure to onboarding, KYC, CDD, and suitability
• You are detail-oriented, able to work at both high level and low level, from policy intent down to field-level validation rules.
• You have experience managing complex frameworks that span policies, business rules, and data requirements.
• You are comfortable navigating ongoing business and regulatory change, adapting frameworks and approaches as needed.
• You bring stakeholders on the journey with you, creating clarity and alignment across diverse groups.
• You’ve supported backlog definition and prioritisation grounded in regulatory and business needs.
• You’ve worked in multi-disciplinary teams in regulated environments and understand the balance between compliance and delivery speed.
• You’re confident leading workshops and engaging stakeholders to co-create solutions.
