Head Cheer and Dance Coach
Join the Lyon College Scots and lead the charge in spirit, energy, and tradition!
We’re looking for a Head Cheer and Dance Coach who’s ready to inspire student-athletes, ignite school pride, and build a program that the entire Lyon community rallies behind. This is a full-time, 12-month position where your leadership will set the tone for excitement on game days, campus events, and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Lead dynamic practices that push student-athletes to excel while keeping the team energized and motivated.
- Teach cheer and dance fundamentals, while elevating technique, performance, and confidence.
- Foster teamwork, resilience, and school spirit that electrifies the stands.
- Recruit passionate and talented student-athletes who are eager to represent the Scots.
- Teach a limited number of physical education courses (dependent upon background, experience)
- Take on other opportunities to engage with and inspire Lyon students.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree (required); master’s degree preferred.
- Previous coaching experience at the high school or college level.
- A high-energy leader who is approachable, motivating, and committed to helping students grow both on and off the mat.
