Bus Monitor na Rockingham County Schools

The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety and orderly conduct of students while being transported on the school bus. Duties include assisting students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring seatbelt use (if applicable), maintaining discipline by reinforcing bus rules, monitoring student behavior during the ride, and reporting concerns to the driver or school administration. The Bus Monitor also supports students with special needs, provides supervision at bus stops as needed, and helps create a safe, respectful, and positive environment during transport.
