What will you do?
As a Buyer, you’ll:
As a Buyer, you’ll:
- Procure aerospace components to support the Jet2.com fleet, with a focus on aircraft in heavy maintenance at our Manchester Hangar facility.
- Manage purchasing activities across three maintenance bays and provide wider procurement support when required.
- Ensure all material and logistical requirements are delivered to keep maintenance schedules running smoothly.
- Drive value through order progression, vendor negotiations and quote comparisons.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to projects that improve our materials support and procurement processes.
What do we need from you?
- Proven purchasing experience, ideally in an aerospace environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- The ability to interpret market conditions with both commercial and technical insight.
- Excellent time management, with a deadline-driven, hands-on approach.
- A collaborative mindset, ready to contribute as part of a high-performing team.
