At Trustpilot, we're on an incredible journey. We're a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world's largest independent consumer review platform, and while we've come a long way, there's still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!
We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our new Data Solutions team. This is a pivotal opportunity to help build and scale Trustpilot’s data solutions business from the ground up. You’ll act as the technical backbone of the commercial team, providing the analysis, insight, and hands-on support that moves deals forward. The role calls for someone who is proactive, analytical, and technically fluent, with the drive to work independently while also aligning and coordinating stakeholders. As the bridge between our clients’ technical requirements and our data capabilities, you’ll ensure seamless integration, solve complex challenges, and play a key role in shaping our 0–1 journey.
What you’ll be doing:
- Run Data Trials: You will manage and execute client data trials, creating custom back-testing data sets and sample reports to showcase the value of our solutions. You'll also provide in-depth company analysis and answer technical questions to help prospects understand how our data can solve their specific business challenges.
- Act as a Technical Advisor: You'll serve as the go-to expert for our data products and platforms, articulating our value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll stay updated on new features and product updates to communicate our capabilities.
- Facilitate Onboarding: You'll be responsible for the technical onboarding of new clients, guiding them through API documentation, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring a seamless transition. You'll also introduce and onboard clients to our internal platforms.
- Own the DDQ Process: You’ll lead the completion of complex Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). This involves collaborating closely with our Legal, Security, and Engineering teams to provide accurate and detailed information about our data coverage, security protocols, and privacy policies.
Who you are:
- Experience: You have prior experience in a client-facing technical role such as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager. Experience with DDQs or similar complex technical questionnaires is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: You have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office, APIs and data integration—proficiency in SQL. Python is a significant plus. Experience with Thinkcell to help build trial reports.
- Communication: You are an excellent communicator, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise language. You can build strong relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams to project manage and drive speed.
- Problem-Solving: You are a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who can independently manage multiple projects and deliver results.
- You: You’re excited by early stage environments that are fast paced with high growth potential. You thrive when things are uncertain and have executed in environments previously where independent and proactive decision making is valued/required.
What’s in it for you:
- A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you
- Competitive compensation package + bonus
- 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment
- Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community
