Program Overview: Performance Trust Trading Internship Program offers a dynamic and immersive experience designed for ambitious students seeking to launch their careers in high finance. Over the course of the summer, interns will gain hands-on exposure to real-time market dynamics. Beyond technical training, interns benefit from mentorship, networking events, and career development workshops. You will contribute to strategy development, risk analysis, and trade execution while learning the tools and mindset that drive success in the trading world. The program is designed to challenge, inspire, and prepare participants for full-time opportunities in trading.
Interns will work alongside seasoned professionals and will be responsible for:
- Supporting senior traders with flow trading and research
- Structuring and analyzing bond cash flows by utilizing cash flow engines like Bloomberg, Intex and YieldBook
- Developing and completing projects related to new product initiatives within trading
- Working with traders and developers to streamline processes across different desks
Desired qualifications and what we’re looking for:
- Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between Winter 2026 and Spring 2027. Candidates pursuing degrees in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields preferred.
- Interest in financial markets, corporate finance, and/or the banking industry as demonstrated by participation in relevant extracurricular activities
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python or other programming language a plus
- A quick learner who has passion for financial markets and trading
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiastic team player
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
Program Duration: 8-10 weeks, June-August 2026 (exact dates TBD and subject to change)

Intern Hourly Rate: The hourly pay range for this position is $30-35 per hour. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is a seasonal role with limited benefits eligibility unless required by local, state or federal law.
