Junior ESG Data and Reporting Analyst, Operations (m/f/x) na HelloFresh

The role

The International Sustainability team located at HelloFresh headquarters in Berlin, is looking for a new Junior ESG Data and Reporting Analyst. The sustainability team oversees all strategic sustainability topics for HelloFresh Group and works in close partnership with our 18 markets to realise the company's sustainability vision. 

The successful candidate will be part of our ESG (environmental, social, and governance) Reporting pillar and help develop processes and governance around our data to further improve the efficiency and auditability of ESG data collection.

You will support the team with preparing annual sustainability statements in compliance with the EU CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) as well as set up the company's processes and capabilities for other upcoming regulations.

What you’ll do

• Support the preparation, data collection and assurance processes with external auditors for the HelloFresh Group Sustainability Statements in compliance with CSRD
• Coordinate evidence collection during the annual audit period between the auditor and HelloFresh Group stakeholders
• Contribute to developing internal guidance for compliance with ESRS standards and support the implementation of compliance measures and policies across ESG topics and stakeholders
• Consult stakeholders on ESG data tracking, data consistency, including streamlining and improving existing processes
• Provide ESG topic leads and other stakeholders with guidance on quantitative and qualitative data collection and validate the accuracy and completeness of the data collected

What you’ll bring

• Postgraduate education in sustainability, environmental science, accounting, finance, business administration or management (or other related fields)
• Initial work experience in data analytics, (non-)financial reporting, controlling and/or audit
• Strong interest and experience in working with Gsheets/Microsoft Excel, large datasets and/or data visualization tools like Tableau
• Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills and ideally experience working globally across time zones/cultures
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• German language skills are a plus but not a prerequisite
