The Partnership for Children of Essex (PCE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a pathway for hope and improving the quality of life for youth and their families.
Partnership for Children of Essex (PCE) is currently seeking a Community Resource Manager:
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan, direct, manage and lead a quality Community Resource Department aligned with the vision and mission of PCE.
- Oversee internal provider resource database for use by Care Management staff as well as provide oversight for external resource database (Essex Resource Net) for community at large.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with the provider Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in a timely manner. Ensure MOU renewal process begins at least 90 days prior to MOU expiration.
- Recruit and engage community providers based on identified gaps in service and identified areas of need by youth and families as reported by Operations Team.
- Connect and develop working relationships with local and state elected officials to educate about PCE’s mission.
- Plan and participate in planning PCE sponsored events for youth and families and partner with FSO on joint events when appropriate.
- Plan and participate in various community events.
- Facilitate and plan effective marketing strategiesto raise awareness about PCE in the community i.e. Get Connected Workgroup, community partnerships and social media oversight.
- Ensure quality service delivery by providers by overseeing a streamed lined internal provider communication system and managing escalated situations involving individual providers.
- Track and monitor provider usage statistics by collaborating with Quality Assurance and Business Departments. Report and address trends.
- Work with Essex County Legislators in advocacy and collaboration efforts.
- Coordinate training for staff as needed centered on relevant provider topics.
- Consults and educates on the referral process to PerformCare. Tracks and reports referral consultation data.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties, as assigned by supervisor or higher-level management personnel.
Qualifications:
- Embraces the mission, philosophy, and values of the Partnership for Children of Essex and demonstrates an ability to work in collaboration with various individuals and system partners.
- Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Clinical license preferred (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, criminal justice, special education) and a minimum of 3 years’
- experience in working with at risk children and their families.
- Must possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in public relations and proficient in public speaking.
- Supervisory experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Essex County community and services, and New Jersey child-serving systems.
- Knowledge of Children’s System of Care (CSOC) a plus.
- Must be proficient in MS applications, especially PowerPoint and Publisher.
- Must also be well versed in social media platforms as well as marketing web applications i.e. Constant Contact.
- Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, Creole).
