Job Title: Revenue Manager Location: Corporate Office
Reports to: Corporate Director of Revenue
Position Summary
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability across a portfolio of hotels. This role ensures that pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies align with brand standards and market conditions. By analyzing trends, monitoring performance, and collaborating with property leadership, the Revenue Manager plays a key role in driving top-line results and supporting the long-term financial success of the organization.
Scope of Responsibility
The Revenue Manager partners closely with Property Management, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure strategies are executed effectively. This position serves as the primary liaison for distribution channels and third-party partners, leads weekly revenue meetings, and ensures alignment between operational execution and corporate strategy. Leveraging revenue management systems and business intelligence tools, the Revenue Manager makes data-driven decisions impacting occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall market share performance.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee a portfolio of hotel properties to ensure pricing, distribution, and inventory management strategies maximize revenue and comply with brand standards.
- Develop, update, and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual revenue forecasts.
- Monitor market trends, demand forecasts, and competitor pricing to adjust strategies and optimize performance.
- Lead weekly revenue meetings with property teams to review performance, discuss strategies, and align upcoming initiatives.
- Manage online travel agency (OTA) relationships, ensuring optimal placement, content accuracy, and channel performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Front Office teams to align revenue goals with operational execution.
- Utilize revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and business intelligence (BI) tools to analyze data and inform strategy.
- Review and interpret weekly and monthly STR (STAR) Reports, applying insights to improve market share and competitive positioning.
- Implement “13th Month” strategies to optimize rates and restrictions for inventory entering the 365-day booking window.
- Provide recommendations to senior leadership regarding pricing changes, promotional opportunities, and system enhancements.
- Protect organizational value by ensuring compliance with corporate revenue standards and maintaining confidentiality of performance data.
- Support special projects and assist with additional revenue management duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Experience:
- Previous hotel revenue management experience, preferably in a resort or multi-property environment.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, either through formal education or prior work experience.
- Experience with Hilton GRO, Marriott One Yield, and/or IHG Concerto strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex data and develop actionable strategies.
- Proficient in revenue management systems, PMS, BI tools, and OTA extranets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid skills in other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present insights to both property teams and senior leadership.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
- Flexible and adaptable; willing to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Demonstrates integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and performance data.

Occasional travel to hotel properties for training, meetings, and operational support.
Hours Required:
Forty to fifty hours per week over a five-day period; flexibility required based on business needs, monthly reporting deadlines, and revenue management cycles.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves extended periods of sitting at a computer workstation and frequent use of standard office equipment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds occasionally. Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary for document review and data entry. The individual must be able to communicate clearly in meetings and in written correspondence and collaborate effectively with team members across various departments.
