What You’ll Be Doing…

As a key member of our Industrial Motion Sales team, you will:

Fenner Precision Polymers is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Management Specialist to support all activities related to the timely entry of customer orders, feedback, and critical sales documentation. This role is essential in resolving customer issues and capturing the voice of the customer through various channels.

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of customer orders
  • Coordinate internal resources—including production, planning, and shipping—to fulfill purchase orders from entry through shipment
  • Foster a collaborative team atmosphere and maintain a professional work environment
  • Support sales and sales support teams with order entry and processing issues
  • Review and process sales order change requests using formal evaluation procedures
  • Monitor and manage electronic orders (EDI, customer portals, etc.), ensuring flagged orders are addressed promptly
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc departmental reports as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate commitment to Fenner’s Quality Culture and Continuous Improvement
  • Uphold and promote Fenner Precision Polymers’ Values and Behaviors at all times

What We’re Looking For…

We’re seeking a team member who brings a strong mix of education, experience, and interpersonal skills to support our order management operations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • An associate’s degree, business school credentials, or 1–2 years of related experience/training—or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with internal teams and external customers
  • A sharp eye for detail and strong organizational abilities to ensure accuracy in order processing
  • A proven track record of resolving customer issues promptly and professionally
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset that contributes to a positive and productive work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation
  • Experience entering customer purchase orders quickly and accurately
  • Confidence in presenting information and responding to inquiries from managers, clients, and customers
  • A commitment to continuous learning, especially in product knowledge and customer service best practices
  • Familiarity with E1 and Salesforce systems is a plus
