Position Description: 

Collaborate with end clients to gather and document business requirements, enhancing and customizing data solution processes. Utilize MicroStrategy BI Framework to create Schema and Application objects, including Attributes, Facts, Metrics, User Hierarchies, and reports. Review and optimize physical database objects such as fact tables, dimensions, and staging areas provided by the data architect. Partner with business teams across the organization to analyze and deliver solutions through reports and interactive dashboards. Develop SQL Stored Procedures, Views, and triggers to extract data for report and dashboard creation. Follow agile methodologies, such as Kanban and Scrum, to develop, test, and implement effective program logic for both existing and new applications. Design ETL processes and data flow from source systems to the data warehouse. Create dynamic dashboards and Liveaboards with visualizations like Pie Charts, Bar Charts, Tree Maps, and more to provide actionable insights. Work closely with Quality Assurance engineers to review code design, source-to-target data mappings, and address any related questions. Embed SQL queries directly into the MicroStrategy platform using the Freeform SQL editor, and build complex reports leveraging features like Templates, Transformations, and Custom Groups.

Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, related field, or foreign degree equivalent. Three years of progressively responsible experience implementing Business Intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy, SQL, T-SQL, DBCC, DCL, DDL, DML Scripts to design database structures and tables
