Sr Product Specialist 

PURPOSE:

As a Sr. Product Specialist, you play a pivotal role in driving user adoption and delivering measurable business value across multiple products, workflows, and platforms, often spanning several business units and geographies. This position requires a strategic mindset and the ability to lead complex change management initiatives that ensure successful implementation and sustained engagement with digital solutions. You will partner closely with engineering, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver customer-centric solutions that align with organizational objectives. Your influence on product strategy, user experience, and technology investments will translate into tangible business outcomes.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead change management initiatives to deliver customer-centric solutions for multiple products/platforms;
• Act as a strategic liaison between users, business stakeholders, and development teams, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product lifecycle;
• Communicate complex product concepts and performance insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Leverage deep subject matter expertise to solve complex user inquiries;
• Coordinate global end-user testing scenarios ensuring alignment with defined acceptance criteria and business objectives;
• Define and analyze advanced user experience metrics in alignment with overall strategic direction;
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations to enhance product usability and value;
• Identify and influence future product development opportunities;
• Lead business intelligence and market research initiatives to guide continuous product innovation;
• Recommend business opportunities and development strategies;
• Mentor junior specialists.
• The preferred location for this role is Creve Coeur, MO.
• Visa sponsorship may be offered for this role. 

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• At least 5 years of experience as a product specialist or a similar role;
• Deep understanding of IT concepts, software development, and product lifecycle;
• Advanced knowledge of product innovation and user-centric thinking;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Experience with product development and backlog management (preferred);
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams (preferred);
• Experience in global or multi-platform environments (preferred).

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $118196.00 - 177294.00.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
