Provides pricing on jobs in North America based on level of authority, · Pursues and communicates pricing authorizations outside the level of authority. · Ensures accuracy and completeness of all order documents before transmitting them to credit or customer service. · Performs analysis of competitors’ pricing to determine the market-level price. · Performs analysis of regional and customer pricing trends. · Works with product management to establish pricing for new product introductions. · Mentors project desk staff. · Has an in-depth understanding of Daikin products as well as competitors’ products. Uses this information to properly position (determine correct size and efficiency) Daikin’s products and provide Daikin Reps with the best chance to win the project. · Works with National Accounts to manage special pricing deals and support the customer. · Monitors department service performance metrics to ensure meet/exceed customer expectations. · Periodically visit with customers to obtain better understanding of their needs and regional market pricing · Assist with processing customer price variance credits · Read and understand PMN (Product Marketing News) that impacts project pricing requests · Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

Experience
8+ years of experience in product planning, marketing, or development · 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
Education/Certification
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or finance
