Job Title: Senior Engineer, AVP

Role Description

Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.

Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals. Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle. Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions. Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow. Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability. Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank.

Your key responsibilities

Specific Work includes

• Support migrating on premise CMS offering to the vendor SAAS Solution (based on Google Cloud Platform)
• Enhance existing web content management platform (dotCMS) with plugins and extensions based on client’s requirements
• Engage in various projects around CMS platform (e.g. hotfix/upgrades, performance and stability improvement, etc.)
• Support clients in individual project setups
• Support Operation Team in L2/L3
• Managing Cloud based applications hosted on GCP/Azure/AWS

Your skills and experience

• Strong experience and commitment to deliver in Agile process highlighting change while accelerating delivery
• Minimum 8+ years of overall hands-on experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills within a team culture

Specific Technology Skills

Must Have

• Development experience with coding for web-based applications: JAVA

Desirable

• Frontend Development Skills (Javascript, JS frameworks, CSS, HTML)
• Experience of at least one CMS: dotCMS, Opentext, Adobe AEM or similar CMS
• Familiar with Agile Methodology (Scrum)
• Experience in working in enterprise company context with shared services & platforms
