About the role:
As a Nuclear Design Engineer, I you will perform complex nuclear engineering standard and non-standard analysis work, and provide technical leadership in design, performance, and delivery of complex products and services.
You will report to the Manager - Nuclear Design. This is a hybrid role, located in Cranberry, PA
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex problems that are not well defined.
• Work with customers and multi-functional project teams. May be an expert knowledge resource of specific engineering discipline.
• Lead work of other engineers and provide periodic performance feedback to them.
• Identify, define, and direct approach for successful resolution of technical nuclear design issues.
• Coordinate and integrate complex technical projects that encompass multi-teams; achieve established budget and schedule requirements.
• Provide appropriate internal/external personnel with periodic updates and recommendations regarding nature and status of work.
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, problem resolution or promote related business products.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering Required (other engineering disciplines will not be considered for this position).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA helpful
• 0 years' experience required. Applicable experience helpful.
• Comfortable leading meetings and developing and delivering presentations.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer programing skills
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
