Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
- Manage work orders and allocate tasks to ensure timely and efficient execution of maintenance jobs.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment issues related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Analyze maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute plans for capital projects and process improvements in alignment with plant objectives.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability, ensuring all maintenance activities meet OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Foster team engagement and performance through coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets; assist in annual budget planning and cost control initiatives.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of Maintenance personnel.
- Ensure training and skill development programs address capability gaps and align with operational needs.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, including PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics – ideally within the packaging or manufacturing industries.
- Proven leadership experience in maintenance, engineering, or process improvement roles.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles; Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
