Your Role
We’re hiring our first marketing team member: an AI Ads & Content Strategist who will help build the growth engine from the ground up. This is not a traditional marketing role. You’ll thrive at the intersection of AI, ads, and content, seeing AI not just as a tool but as a creative partner that can 10x what’s possible in campaign strategy, content production, and client results.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to experiment, innovate, and shape how Rowan (and its clients) become known as leaders in small business succession. If you’re curious, creative, and energized by the future of AI in marketing — this is your chance to set the foundation.
Responsibilities
AI-Powered Ads Management
Set up, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Leverage AI tools to design, test, and scale ad variations quickly.
Build dashboards and automate reporting to track and communicate results clearly.
AI-Enhanced Content Strategy
Partner with the Head of Marketing to design and execute content strategies for Rowan and its clients.
Use AI to brainstorm, draft, and refine ad copy, headlines, scripts, and visuals with ROI in mind.
Translate insights from AI analytics into creative adjustments that improve performance.
Client-Facing Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor for Rowan clients, showing how AI and ads can work together to drive measurable impact.
Present campaign performance with clarity, tying results back to business outcomes.
Social & Emerging Channels
Stay on top of social media and AI trends, applying them thoughtfully to campaigns and experiments.
Support new initiatives such as launching Rowan’s first podcast — scripting, repurposing, and distributing content with AI-powered workflows.
Collaboration & Growth
Work hand-in-hand with the Head of Marketing to test, learn, and scale successful approaches.
Bring creativity, adaptability, and a human touch to every AI-powered experiment.
Requirements
Experience
3+ years in digital marketing, paid ads, or content strategy.
Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, OpusClip, or similar) to accelerate output and performance.
Skills
Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and at least one other major platform (LinkedIn, YouTube, or Google).
Ability to craft compelling ad copy, visuals, and concepts with AI, then refine them with human creativity.
Strong client-facing skills with clear, confident communication and data storytelling abilities.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to experiment.

Deep curiosity about how AI is reshaping marketing — and motivated to apply it daily.
Comfortable testing, iterating, and pivoting quickly.
Believes AI should amplify human creativity, not replace it.
