Job Description: The EMT-ACP will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT-ACP will cover standby assignment, as operations require. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

- Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)
Licenses
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
- Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
- Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic/Advanced Care Paramedic (EMT-P/ACP)
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
- Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) certificate acceptable
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
