Western National is seeking a Sr. Claims Support Specialist to join our Property/Casualty Claims team!
The individual in this role will have the opportunity to provide administrative and clerical support to property claims team members.
What are the responsibilities and opportunities of this role?
- Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
- Subject matter expert for other support staff, providing technical training as needed.
- Updates reports, print checks and understands information.
- Seeks relevant information and answers to key questions from defined sources.
- Is supervised on non-routine issues and tasks.
- Applies knowledge to help solve problems of relatively limited scope and complexity.
- Limits discretion to vary from established procedures.
- Contacts other internal departments and team members.
- Answers incoming customer call for department.
- Communicates primarily task/learning-related and involves creating and delivering varied types of messages and information.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
What are the must-have qualifications for a candidate?
- Good communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details.
- Ability to follow process.
- Time management/ability to meet deadlines.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment and software packages.

Compensation overview
The full hiring range for this role is $22.80 - $30.03 hourly. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates looking for compensation outside of the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their individual qualifications and/or may be considered for other positions.
