Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Director of Employee Benefits. This position is responsible for managing the Total Compensation, Benefits, and HR systems strategy as a key member of the HR leadership team. Ensures all programs and actions support and align with our business objectives. This position maintains a competitive and equitable compensation and benefits structure that will attract, engage, recognize, and reward high performing employees. This position is 100% on site in Leawood, KS. Partners with human resources business partners, executives, and other business leaders to maintain equity, assess MHCs position against the market, and discuss recommendations to ensure that all compensation plans are cost competitive and support company values and achievement of business objectives. Leads the implementation of new total rewards technologies or enhancements to existing technologies including HRIS/payroll, compensation, performance, and benefits. Partners with HRIS/HRM vendor to leverage enhanced reporting and other automated solutions for improved administration of critical benefit & compensation processes. Oversees all HR systems to ensure configuration meets the needs of respective users and stakeholders as well as evaluate benefits of new applications and make recommendations for system changes/enhancements. Designs, implements, and manages an overall total rewards philosophy and executes the strategy, inclusive of compensation planning, job leveling, promotion cycles, etc. Leads and develops a team of compensation and benefits professionals. Leads benefits communication strategy to ensure employee understanding of plan offerings, policies, and important dates. Participates in salary and benefit surveys to analyze results and develop recommendations. Manages all audits such as year-end close, ISO processes, ERISA, FLSA, 401k, etc. Conducts analysis to ensure compensation and related practices are supporting our business objectives to attract and retain talent. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
