Requirements:
Support the Principal and Administrative Assistant with projects, daily responsibilities, and school-specific tasks.
Exhibit excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Demonstrate the capability to multitask and follow written and oral instructions.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
Exhibit the propensity to learn and routinely use new applications, as needed.
Operate office equipment effectively and type with accuracy.
Possess the knowledge of simple accounting practices.
Flexible with regards to unexpected situations or changes in priorities.
Cooperate with all office personnel and staff.
Display a courteous manner when dealing with students, staff, and families.
Exhibit professionalism in dress and attire.
School experience desired as the General Office Professional will cover for the Administrative Assistant position in her absence. This position requires someone who is confidential, professional and will contribute to a positive school climate.
College graduates preferred, but high school graduates or equivalent with proficiency in the English language and mathematics will also be considered.
Term/Duration: Start date is October 1, 2025. The work year is 190 days.
Salary: $22.13/hour for new hires, per union contract. Hours are 7:45 am to 3:15 pm. This is a union position (union dues apply) with health benefits.
