Winnebago Industries, Inc. has an immediate need for an experienced Dispatcher. This position will be based in Middlebury, Indiana.
Primary Objective of Position: Dispatch provides service to our dealers by dispatching and invoicing all U.S and Canada units while also providing daily support to our Production & Quality teams.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Invoice & Dispatch units daily.
- Create State Seals & CSA Seals daily.
- Partner with Operations to align dispatch schedules with production flows.
- Assist the Customer Relations team with damaged units.
- Support daily production through providing work orders to the Plant Managers.
- Coordinate with shuttle drivers and production staff for timely unit pick-ups.
- Conduct weekly yard inventory and communicate findings with relevant departments.
- Communication and coordination of production schedules.
- Communication of change orders as needed.
- Prepare and distribute daily afternoon reports to internal teams.
- Pick up packets at the Production plants daily and ensure accurate documentation.
- Build positive relationships with transport companies & dealers.
- Assist in research and reissuing duplicate MSOs.
- Maintaining VIN dashboards, as needed.
- Support and assist other team members and departments as needed.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous dispatcher experience a plus
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word a must
- Basic computer skills
- Must have a Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Strong communication skills a must
- Basic grammar skills & legible handwriting skills
Physical Demands
- Able to be consistently available during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close periods.
- Able to work early mornings, late evenings, and Saturdays as needed.
- Able to work in outdoor conditions year-round
