Job Summary
The Supervisor - Treasury, reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, will manage debt covenant compliance, prepare updates for ratings agencies, perform analyses for the corporate capital structure, manage global letters of credit, analyze foreign currency exposures, review drilling contracts and credit terms, and support key reporting and analysis to senior leadership. The position will help lead our Treasury Finance team and is focused primarily on treasury financial analysis offering exposure to capital structure, shareholder return initiatives, and strategic projects. The position is responsible for leading, developing, and coaching the treasury analyst.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts financial analyses to support corporate capital structure strategy.
- Manages global letter of credit issuance.
- Analyzes foreign currency exposures and funding requests.
- Reviews drilling contracts from a Treasury and Finance perspective, including performing customer credit reviews.
- Prepares and delivers Treasury reporting and analyses for the Board of Directors, CFO, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer.
- Prepares ratings agency update presentations.
- Oversees debt covenant compliance and capital structure analysis.
- Maintains bank relationships and coordinate internal reporting.
- Leads and contributes to treasury special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Manages, coaches, and develops the finance the treasury analyst.
Qualifications / Education
Bachelor’s, Master’s or advanced degree from accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other appropriate business disciplines required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a corporate financial function for a business of similar size or complexity.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Skills & Experience
Experience in capital structure analysis, ratings agency communications, customer contract reviews from a finance and credit perspective, debt covenant compliance, FX management, and letters of credit.
- Strong leadership ability with a track record of coaching and developing team members.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Highly collaborative, adaptable, and committed to compliance and ethical standards.
- Advanced Excel skills required; Oracle PBCS / Hyperion and Bloomberg experience a plus.
