Senior Security Engineer, Offensive na AmTrust Financial Services, Inc.

The Offensive Security Specialist will be part of an elite team of Cyber Security professionals whose mission is to proactively test enterprise information security controls for effectiveness and to coordinate manual or automated remediation of weaknesses and gaps in the detection, prevention and response to cyber attacks.

This member of the Security Assurance team is responsible for performing penetration tests, conducting vulnerability research and collaborating with IT Security and Infrastructure teams to develop remediations, improvements and implementation of security controls. This resource will also work closely with other members of the Security Assurance team to automate testing with an eye toward AI/ML use cases where feasible.

• Identify gaps in existing security controls in third-party and in-house applications (including components using some variation of Artificial Intelligence), networks and systems
• Develop, acquire and maintain offensive security tools
• Simulate planned “attacks” to test incident response and security control effectiveness
• Simulate social engineering attacks
• Write clear, actionable reports, detailing mitigations to be used
• Work with other Security Assurance team members to automate security control testing

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, CyberSecurity or Equivalent Experience
• 10+ Years Cyber Security Experience
• 5+ Years Offensive Security Experience

Preferred: 

• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certified
• Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) certified

Technical Skills:

• Thorough knowledge and practical experience testing applications, APIs and Networks
• Thorough understanding of modern offensive security tools
• Understanding of cloud principles and design
• Understanding of legacy datacenter principles and design
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK and DEFEND Frameworks
• Performing Attack Path Effectiveness Assessments
