POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage HR operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with employment laws and best practices. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruiting and retaining top talent, developing employee policies and procedures, managing employee relations, and supporting a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with department managers to forecast staffing needs and develop workforce plans.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to handle grievances, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations and recommend resolutions in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
Policy Development & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance review processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
- Support managers in coaching and employee development initiatives.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
- Manage employee benefits, payroll coordination, leave administration, and HR reporting.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role (Preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems, experience with Paylocity is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven ability to lead HR projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
