Automation Analyst/Product Owner na Unisys

What success looks like in this role:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Analyst to join our Automation Team. This hybrid role combines the strategic vision of a Product Owner, the facilitation skills of a Scrum Master, and the technical acumen of an Automation Analyst. The ideal candidate will lead automation initiatives from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering measurable value.

• Facilitates / collaborates with developers, quality assurance and Scrum Master(s) to help ensure effective service/product development and implementation.
• Prioritizes and manages backlog and implementation processes to ensure execution meets service/product strategy and requirements.
• Refines features into story acceptance criteria.
• Supports one to two Scrum teams to build, enhance and manage one or more products, capabilities or services.
• Aggregates and conceives ideas for enhancing services/product performance and achieving services/product success / key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Engages with clients as a subject matter expert to understand service delivery/product expectations and performance requirements.
• Facilitates solution optioning with Engineering / Services / Product Development.
• Coordinates with Services/Product Management to deliver on a vision that crosses multiple delivery streams or release trains.
• Assesses service/product performance against KPIs and makes adjustments / corrections to improve performance.
• Regularly communicates services/product status, experience and performance to organizational stakeholders.

Additional Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership & Strategy

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on ROI and client experience.
• Define product/service scope and vision, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Create and manage product backlogs, epics, features, and user stories.
• Promote the product vision across internal teams and stakeholders.

Scrum Master & Agile Facilitation

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Ensure team adherence to Agile principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Remove impediments and foster a collaborative team environment.

Automation Analysis & Delivery

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and immersion sessions to uncover automation needs.
• Design cloud-based automation solutions in collaboration with technical architects.
• Lead experimentation, pilots, and MVP development to validate automation hypotheses.
• Create documentation and artifacts to support automation projects and ensure quality delivery.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT and cloud-related product/service delivery.
• Proven experience as an Agile Product Owner and/or Scrum Master.
• Strong background in automation tools & technologies (e.g., ServiceNow Orchestrator, Ansible, Azure).
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (SCRUM), SDLC, and process engineering.
• Financial acumen to calculate and present ROI for automation initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

• Product Owner Certification, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, ITIL.
• Cloud Certification (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, reporting tools (Power BI, MSRS), and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong communication skills using tools like PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
