A DAY IN THE LIFE:- Draft and prepare initial versions of contracts and related documents for attorney review
- Track outstanding information required to finalize contracts and promptly communicate to attorneys and operations teams to support an efficient negotiation process
- Identify and communicate potential issues or inconsistencies in documentation
- Organize and compile contracts and exhibits for execution with owners and other stakeholders
- Review executed contracts and accurately enter key data into our CounselLink application to ensure reliable reporting and contract management
- Input attorney revisions into a variety of legal documents (e.g., contracts, contractor consents, estoppel certificates, NDAs, leases, amendments, subordination agreements, affidavits)
- Coordinate with controllers regarding A305 qualification statements
- Assist with organization and maintenance of resources and training materials
- Provide general support to attorneys with various legal and project-related tasks as needed
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flexibility and willingness to collaborate with others to accomplish tasks
- 3-10 years of related experience
- Paralegal or other college degree program, with real estate, construction or transactional training or experience
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with NetDocs and/or CounselLink a plus
