Role: NDT Inspector
Salary: £Competitive
Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, (DE13 8EN)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07.00 to 16:00pm and Friday 07.00 to 13.00pm, 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent- Full-Time
We are looking for an experience NDT Inspector join our team in Barton, to g set up and calibration of equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
What you will be doing…
To set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
To conduct tests to ensure quality, or detect discontinuities (defects), using NDT methods of inspection
To establish techniques for examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
To apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
To organise and report test results
To perform specialized inspections
Are you an individual with the following?
Good standard of basic education including English & Math (preferably GCSE Grade C and above or equivalent)
An NDT Level II Certification is desirable
Must be willing to continue education and training in NDT technology
Previous experience in NDT (MPI) is essential
Must have a basic understanding of NDT principles
Must be familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used (MPI)
The need to understand the technology application of the tools at hand, to maximise the efficiency and quality of inspection
