Job Overview:

As a Die Cutter Operator, you will play a key role in our production team by operating and maintaining Heidelberg die cutters, ensuring precision and quality in every job. You will review job specifications, measure and calculate cutting positions, and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.

Shift Details:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

What You'll Do:

• Operate and maintain Heidelberg die cutters, including setup, adjustments, lubrication, knife replacement, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Review job specifications to determine cutting, folding, and sheet size requirements; measure and input cutting positions into the equipment's computer system.
• Align, jog, and cut paper sheets with precision; adjust machine settings and computer programs as needed to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Stack finished or pre-finished materials on pallets, document job details on load tags and time sheets, and keep the workstation neat and compliant with safety standards.
• Support the Bindery Team Lead with additional operational tasks as required.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience with die cutters, printing, and/or bindery equipment, with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading job specifications, rulers (to 1/64"), and using basic math to calculate cutting positions.
• Skilled in operating computerized equipment, making precise adjustments, and ensuring high-quality output.
• Commitment to safety, organization, and maintaining a clean, efficient work environment.
