Chemical Logistics & Inventory Coordinator
Location: Arvada, CO (Remote Optional)

About the Role
Join Mark VII, a leader in car wash manufacturing, and contribute to shaping the future of the industry. The Chemical Logistics & Inventory Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of chemical products within our operations. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day logistical needs and maintaining optimal inventory levels to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory for all direct and consignment warehouses, as well as service vehicles.
- Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure optimal stock levels across all locations.
- Conduct and assist with field and physical inventory audits.
- Approve and process all chemical orders.
- Address and correct SAP inventory errors by working with chemical and service teams.
- Ensure the timely closure of open inventory-related tickets.
- Maintain safety and management compliance within warehouses.
Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination
- Process all subcontractor deliveries and bills of lading (BOL), ensuring accurate purchase order issuance.
- Train new subcontractors on BOL and invoicing procedures.
- Manage subcontractor pricing tables and resolve delivery issues as they arise.
Systems and Data Management (SAP)
- Update SAP with chemical cost and list price master data.
- Ensure accurate customer inventory records for timely and correct billing.
- Analyze and book monthly consumption data.
- Maintain contracts, consumption tables, and discounted pricing for key accounts.
- Coordinate the setup and changes of warehouse locations within the system.
- Manage inventory transfers and receiving processes.
Regulatory Compliance
- Train employees on Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Schedule and manage random DOT-compliant drug testing for the chemical fleet.
- Oversee licensing and administrative requirements (IFTA, IRP, CA CHIPS, UCR, etc.) for the chemical fleet.
- Schedule 49CFR compliance training for all chemical drivers.
- Ensure Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements are met to maintain a positive safety rating.
Reporting and Analysis
- Generate various monthly and quarterly reports for senior management.
- Create quarterly reports for the Simoniz rebate program.
Customer and Project Support
- Maintain key customer databases, such as Circle K and 7 Eleven.
- Process car counts for cost-per-car invoicing for designated customers.
- Provide support to the chemical field team as needed.
- Assist with special chemical-related projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with DOT Compliance
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a must.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
- Proficient in SAP
- Car Wash chemical experience preferred
