We are looking for a (Senior) M&A / Corporate Development Analyst (all genders) based in Berlin or working remotely from Germany with regular visits to the Berlin office.

Your mission with us:
You will support Lingoda’s strategic growth by identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities and corporate development initiatives, leveraging top-tier financial and market analysis to inform decision-making and drive value creation.

Your Tasks:

  • Conduct comprehensive market and industry research to identify potential acquisition targets, partnership opportunities, and strategic investments.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases for potential M&A deals.
  • Support due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments.
  • Assist in drafting investment memos, presentation materials, and executive summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—finance, legal, product, and executive leadership—to facilitate deal execution and integration planning.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments impacting M&A strategy.
  • Support post-deal integration projects and measure deal performance against strategic objectives.

Your bring to Lingoda:

  • A Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field with an outstanding academic record.
  • 2-4 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Private Equity.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills (Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with data tools is a plus).
  • Deep understanding of deal structuring, due diligence, and integration processes.
  • Knowledge of industry dynamics, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills A2+
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and think strategically under tight deadlines.
