Are you an Emergency Veterinary Technician with a passion for leadership? CTVSEH is hiring a full-time Lead Emergency Veterinary Technician with strong leadership skills to work alongside our experienced and friendly staff and emergency doctors.

Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Two years minimum Veterinary Technician experience
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred
- Emergency care experience preferred
- Leadership skills required
- Basic computer knowledge
- Excellent client and pet care skills required
- Knowledge of the veterinary field is required
Skills:
- Strong customer service, communication and leadership skills required
- Ability to direct, guide, and assist their staff with varying personalities and communication skills
- Ability to show unbiased judgment when managing people and make fair, just recommendations in regard to personnel issues and/or disciplinary action
- Ability to safely lift objects or pets of at least 50lbs
- Ability to work with or without direct supervision
- Restrain and control cats and dogs of any temperament
- Recognize concerning behaviors in pets
- Strong organizational skills
Compensation:
- Salary range: $26 - $29/hour
- Salary commensurate with experience level and credential status
Schedule:
- Daytime (6:30 am - 7:00 pm) shifts on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
- Full-time
