The Software Engineer I supports the development and maintenance of engineering tools used in parcel handling and automation systems. This position focuses on improving CAD tools, simulation software, and related applications using C#, C++, and Python.

Your role in our team

• You will design, develop, and maintain CAD tools, simulation software, and custom automation applications—primarily using C#, C++, and Python—to support parcel handling systems
• You will collaborate with engineering, systems, research, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align with project specifications, and translate them into modular software solutions
• You will build and optimize front-end and back-end workflows, ensuring data integrity and efficient post-processing for camera and microphone inputs
• You will test, troubleshoot, and update software to ensure performance, incorporating operator feedback to improve usability and add new features
• You will document software architecture, data collection procedures, and system code to support maintainability and effective knowledge transfer
• You will assist with software deployment, resolve technical issues, and support continuous improvements in automation processes and efficiency

Your profile

• You have obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• You have gained 1–3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in automation or material handling projects
• You have strong programming skills in C#, C++, and Python
• You have experience with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Siemens NX) and simulation software
• You have effective problem-solving and debugging skills
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and a high level of attention to detail and organizational ability
