Senior Leadership Support Business Manager (Louisville, KY). Support senior leadership of company that provides supply chain management solutions through strategic and operational responsibilities that include project management, executing projects and assignments, coordination of time planning and resources, conducting research, compiling data and participating in other high-level projects as required. Duties include:
• support senior leadership on key planning and policy issues by managing and tracking strategic initiatives.
• manage projects and assignments related to provision of supply chain management solutions for a large global tech client, including registering employer in foreign countries, collecting, summarizing and presenting information and results to reassess business case and facilitate repricing.
• manage international trade and tax compliance requirements for large global tech client, including researching international trade and tax requirements, working with international cargo and parcel carriers ensure compliance and collecting and reviewing customs-related documentation.
• direct digitization of data and AI features for large global tech client using employer systems and processes
• coordinate between multiple stakeholders and partner companies for projects for large global tech client by managing approval process, providing advice and exchanging knowledge.
• draft reviews and revise reports and multimedia presentations for executive meetings and presentations and support senior leadership in preparation of written executive communications, both internally and externally.
• work with communications department in the development of messages delivered by the CEO.
• work with business development and marketing departments in the development of knowledge library and sales materials.
• support project management initiatives at the executive level by calculating business cases, reassessing pricing, analyzing costs, conducting market research, collecting information and summarizing data.
• provide regular status updates on a variety of executive projects to Vice Presidents, site leaders, company president, general manager and industry leaders.
Domestic travel required as follows: short trips (each 1 week or less) (a) to employer’s other U.S. sites for meetings on a quarterly basis, (b) to employer’s headquarters in Massachusetts for meetings every other month and (c) ad hoc trips to meet with vendors and clients in the U.S. up to 5 times per year.
Requires: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in International Economics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 3 years of experience providing professional business support in a supply chain management business environment as a Business Analyst, Consultant, Project Manager, Trade Specialist, Business Development Manager or any other relevant title. Experience must include:
• 1 year of international trade management experience
• 1 year of project management experience
• 1 year of bid/tender management experience, including business case calculation
• 1 year of profit and loss management experience, including creating and analyzing P & L statements for use by senior management in making strategic decisions.
