Earn $20–$24/hour | Stable Monday–Friday Schedule | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
At Four-Legged Fun Zone (a division of Tailored Pet Services), we believe dog daycare should be structured, safe, and professional—not chaotic rooms with 40 dogs and one exhausted handler. We’ve been trusted in the pet care industry for 14 years and built strong community relationships with vets, shelters, and other pet pros. Now we’re looking for a Dog Daycare Wrangler Level 1 to join our team.
This isn’t an entry-level “play with dogs” job. You must already have professional experience managing off-leash dog groups.
Why Join Us
- Stable Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. No nights, no weekends, no surprise shift changes.
- Competitive Pay You Can Count On: Base pay starts at $20/hour, with group bonuses pushing most wranglers to $24–$29/hour.
- Professional Respect: We don’t micromanage. We hire experienced people and trust them to do their jobs.
- Culture That Cares: We back each other up, explain the “why” behind every decision, and celebrate team wins together.
- Values-Driven: We live our F.O.C.U.S. values—Fun/Humor, Ongoing Education, Collaboration, Uplift the Profession, and Support. If those resonate with you, you’ll feel at home here.
Our Culture
At Four-Legged Fun Zone, we’re proud to be different. As part of Tailored Pet Services, we’ve been trusted in the community for 14 years. Our reputation is built on professionalism, safety, and care—not chaos. But what truly sets us apart is how we treat our team:
- Supportive, Not Solo: You’ll never be left drowning with 40 dogs. We keep ratios safe so both dogs and wranglers thrive. If someone is unexpectedly out, the team steps up—because someday it might be you who needs the same support.
- Stability You Can Count On: Your schedule is consistent Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. No surprise nights, weekends, or last-minute on-call texts.
- Respect for Expertise: Our owner hires skilled people and listens to them. Ideas from wranglers and groomers often shape how we improve safety, flow, and enrichment.
- Transparency, Not Guesswork: There’s always a reason behind decisions, and we explain the “why.” Feedback from the team is encouraged and often shapes improvements. But we can’t get anything done by committee—so management takes input and turns it into clear policies the whole team can follow.
- Why People Stay: Several employees have been with Tailored Pet Services for 3+ years, and past team members stayed 6–8 years until life circumstances pulled them away. Some have even taken pay cuts to work here because they value the culture and stability we offer. In an industry known for turnover, that kind of loyalty speaks volumes.
Fun at Work
Caring for dogs is serious work, but it doesn’t mean we can’t laugh. Around here, fun is part of the job:
- Blowing bubbles for the pups and sharing silly play yard videos.
- Celebrating small but meaningful milestones—like when a shy dog initiates play, or an energetic pup learns to settle calmly.
- Getting creative, like when one of our employees painted the windows with adorable dog art.
- Honoring our staff dogs (our furry brand ambassadors) by putting their photos on the wall alongside the daycare pups.
- These little moments keep our work joyful and remind us why we love what we do.
Work-Life Balance — With Accountability
Everyone deserves time to rest and recharge. That’s why schedules are set in advance, Monday–Friday only, with no nights or weekends.
To keep dogs and humans safe, we allow only one person off at a time. If someone is unexpectedly out sick, the rest of the team steps up—but we can’t absorb multiple absences without putting safety at risk.
That’s why reliability matters here. Frequent call-outs or hoping time off will “just be covered” isn’t fair to your teammates. We support each other by showing up as promised—so the work stays predictable, safe, and sustainable.
Compensation
- Base Pay: $20/hour (covers groups up to 10 dogs).
- Daily Group Bonuses (added to your day’s pay):
- Daily bonus: $3.00 per dog/day for 11–12 dogs
- Daily bonus: $4.00 per dog/day for 13–14 dogs
- Daily bonus: $5.00 per dog/day for 15–16 dogs
Earning potential examples:
- 11 dogs = $24.13/hour
- 13 dogs = $26.50/hour
- 15 dogs = $29.38/hour
Most wranglers average $20–$29/hour across the pay period.

- Opportunities to bring your own dog to work when it’s a good fit.
- A team that has your back when life happens.
Responsibilities

- Communicate clearly with teammates to keep things running smoothly.

- Your only experience is Rover, Wag, or solo pet sitting.
- You’ve only ever handled one dog at a time.
- Your last group-handling role ended before 2022.
- You need reminders to stay on task or only hustle when the manager walks by.
- You live more than 15 miles from Everett and hope traffic will be kind (it won’t).
- You think daycare is just “playing with dogs”—this is serious work with real safety responsibilities.
