REGIONAL DIRECTOR AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing airport stations within an assigned region of the United States. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Regional Director provides strategic leadership and vision while serving as a key resource for the region. This position involves guiding and mentoring direct reports to ensure station operations are safe, efficient, profitable, and focused on delivering exceptional customer service. The Regional Director plays a critical role in driving organizational change and continuous improvement across all stations in their region.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct activities of the station operations, station managers, affect positive change within the region while promoting adherence to company policies and procedures
• Work with the safety team to ensure that safety initiatives are properly administrated at all stations
• Work with the training team to ensure training requirements are properly administrated at all stations
• Oversee the preparation of their assigned budgets, provide on-going support to keep results within the plan to yield bottom line expectations
• Routinely communicate and meet with customers fostering strong partnerships
• Develops annual operating and business plans and the accompanying financial budget in keeping with the strategic plan
• Implement and monitor policies, standards, operating procedures, and long-range objectives
• Emphasize troubleshooting and coaching at the airport stations as needed to ensure KPI’s and other measures of success are obtained
• Provide guidance and leadership to the functional and operations management within the region, including areas such as labor relations, Operations efficiencies, maintenance, facility oversight, ADA, safety/security and other functional areas
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential new customers
• Assist in the development process for new business; share joint responsibility for growth with the Business Development team
• Develop and mentor high potential employees in the region
• Help recruit new talent to bring into the region to fill needed vacant positions
• Ensure the highest level of safety compliance across the region
• Liaise with TSA, CBP and other government/airport officials on security requirements
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS
• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• 8 or more years of management experience required
• 5 or more years’ experience in aviation/distribution required
• Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws
• Knowledge of safety practices associated with the aviation industry
• Staff planning experience to drive efficiency through analytics
• Excellent client relationship skills
• Ability to manage cost control and financial/budget experience across multiple locations
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, contracts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to work effectively with labor; including labor grievances and negotiations
• Become qualified agent/trainer for all customer airlines
• Understanding P/L to drive revenue goals and cost control
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
• Ability to work independently and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
• Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
• Travel requirement >50% travel between airport stations and for meetings

• Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
