Job Description:The Class is seeking a passionate and proven Studio Manager to lead our NY studio team and operations. A hands-on go-getter, you will own the day-to-day operations of the Tribeca Studio, managing the team and performance plan to exceed revenue goals and nurture a best-in-class experience for our students, teachers and team members. Elevating our service standards, you will ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality. You will be responsible for creating and fostering an inclusive, warm, welcoming, and high-touch environment for everyone who enters our doors while achieving performance goals and growing the studio revenue.
What you’ll do:
Sales & Marketing
- You will partner with leadership to create and manage a sales plan and studio schedule to exceed revenue and capacity goals for the Tribeca studio.
- Monitor and report on studio performance against revenue targets and key performance indicators daily.
- Manage the operating budget and maintain budget controls and procedures to ensure that expenses stay within the set budget and efficiency metrics are met.
- Collaborate with Marketing and assist the Partnership and Production teams with planning, marketing and executing promotional campaigns, including Class promotions, workshops, email campaigns, and special events.
- Serve as the NY point person for in-studio retail including sales training, inventory replenishment, and visual merchandising.
Operations & Management
- You will work from the Tribeca studio at least 5 days a week and oversee day-to-day studio operations, including cleaning, maintenance, supply management, customer service, compliance, scheduling and payroll.
- Develop a staffing plan aligned to Class needs and budget requirements, ensuring adequate staff coverage for Classes, events, and other activities, covering shifts yourself as needed on a daily basis.
- You will hire, manage and mentor the NY Studio Team fostering an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing work environment with continuous attention on training and development.
- Work in partnership with producers and teachers on the smooth, supportive coordination of the daily studio operations.
- Develop training programs that aimed at increasing studio revenue and elevating customer satisfaction.
- You will partner with the LA Studio Manager to align best practices and create consistency in the studio experience and policies wherever appropriate.
- You will partner with Production to oversee and uphold audio and visual protocols for in-studio and live streaming content.
- Ensure studio policies and procedures are updated, upheld and adhered to.
Hospitality & Community Engagement
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, welcoming and on-brand environment for all students and team members.
- Exemplify a love for excellent customer service, addressing any student concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
- You will model a best-in-class hospitality mentality that provides exceptional service to students, teachers and staff, and inspires others to do the same.
- You will have the confidence and clarity to manage conflict in high pressure situations and raise issues to the appropriate places as needed.
- Invest in programs and experiences that increase engagement of the studios and foster a sense of community before and after Class.

What you’ve done:
- You have at least 3 years of management experience in a fitness, retail, hospitality or a customer service business.
- You have hired, managed, and mentored successful, engaged teams comprised of part-time employees.
- You have been responsible for hitting sales targets and managing operating budgets.
- You have proven experience in hospitality management or a related field, with a track record of creating exceptional guest experiences.
- You have experience and confidence working in MindBody, ClassPass, and other scheduling tools.
The approximate salary range for this full-time salaried position is $75,000 - $95,000 plus health benefits. The exact salary offered may vary based on job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education and training, business needs and market demands.
The Studio Manager role is based in NYC and requires five days per week in studio, including at least one weekend shift, as well as on high-attendance days, during workshops and events, and on certain holidays.
