Accounting Specialist – Client Directed Services

💲 Starting Pay: $17.65–$20.75/hour

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who enjoys working with others, can problem-solve with common sense, and brings a sense of humor to the workplace. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Mankato, MN, offering daytime hours and a supportive work environment.
💼 What You’ll Do:
- Maintain accounting functions for the Client Directed Services (CDS) program
- Collect and manage data using Excel and accounting software
- Monitor spending plans and process timesheets and claims
- Submit accurate monthly billing to funding sources
- Communicate budget details to stakeholders
- File accounting and payroll records
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma + 3–5 years of related experience, or Associate’s Degree + 1 year of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Strong math and basic accounting skills
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must pass a MN Department of Human Services background check
