Position: Logistics Technician Associate
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Compensation: $19–$20 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Logistics Technician Associate to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in supporting our Caterpillar operations by building customized boxes and crates used for shipping specialized equipment and components.
This is a collaborative, team-oriented environment where reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are highly valued. In addition to crate assembly and material prep, you’ll assist with end-of-shift tasks such as trash and debris collection to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or an associate's degree in a related field preferred).
· Previous experience in facilities maintenance, logistics operations, or a similar environment preferred but not required.
· Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to use tools and equipment safely, including hand tools and power tools.
· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· A solid understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow all safety guidelines in a facility setting.
Desired Qualifications:
· Previous experience working in a logistics or warehouse environment.
· Familiarity with safety standards, including OSHA regulations, and the ability to maintain a safe work environment.
· Basic knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations.
Technology Requirements:
· Ability to use maintenance management software (e.g., SAP, CMMS) to log maintenance requests, track inventory, and schedule work orders.
· Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery relevant to the facility maintenance tasks.
· Basic understanding of computer systems for entering data, tracking inventory, and generating reports.
Other Requirements:
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with various departments.
· Strong attention to detail, with the ability to notice potential maintenance issues before they impact operations.
· Good communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and updates to team members and supervisors.
· Ability to handle physically demanding work, including the lifting and moving of heavy objects.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to different locations as necessary.
