Description
Position Overview: Executes Brio Medical, PC’s facilities plan. This part time position manages maintenance plans for four properties and ensures that the high standards of Brio are maintained across all locations. The ideal candidate is an expert communicator, comfortable with being ‘on the move’ and understands basic repairs/maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Provides the direct day-to-day oversight of facilities/property maintenance. 24/7 “on-call” for emergency situations (compensated at additional, hourly rate). Coordinates all mandatory inspections with outside vendors and coordinates third-party services (ex. Janitorial, landscaping, etc.).
- Maintains repair ticketing system and communicates statuses, timelines, etc. with site coordinators and team members that have submitted tickets.
- Prepares maintenance calendar and supervises repairs/inspections as scheduled. Maintains a monthly budget for expenses.
- Serves as courier between all locations, transporting mail, documents, labs, etc.
- Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs as able.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Leadership experience a plus
- Experience managing facilities including coordinating vendors, maintaining service contracts, organizing service repair request is preferred
- Experience in a medical setting preferred
- Strong communication skills a must
Work environment and Physical Demands:
- Ability to work both “in the field” and at a computer terminal for lengthy periods of time.
- Ability to travel between our 4 locations and potentially need to travel to purchase or pick up parts and other necessities for the facilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to be on call 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
- Person may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, infectious diseases, blood/bodily fluids, and disease-bearing specimens.
