Description


MeatEater, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Brand Designer. This full-time role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and executing email templates and weekly campaigns across all MeatEater brands, including FHF Gear, First Lite, Phelps Game Calls, and the MeatEater Store. The Brand Designer will also collaborate closely with the Creative Director to support a wide range of creative projects across the company. Candidates should have proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the ability to build customer journeys, create audience segments, and optimize email flows to drive engagement and conversions. 


Requirements
  • Code, test, and execute new email templates and weekly email campaigns across allMeatEater brands.
  • Optimize new and existing email templates for mobile and desktop user experiences.
  • Streamline templates across all MeatEater brands incorporating Salesforce MarketingCloud WYSIWYG functionality along with Advanced Content Modules (Dynamic Content,
  • Einstein Content, etc.) and Custom Modules (behavioral triggers, content selection, etc.).
  • Work with the marketing and e-commerce teams to execute personalized, segmented campaigns intended to increase subscriber engagement and conversion.
  • Suggest and implement A/B tests and enhancements to email campaign strategy to optimize results.
  • Update automated and transactional email templates as necessary for new product assortments and features.
  • Incorporate and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud Einstein Email Recommendations in critical touchpoints.
  • Build and execute Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Journeys to increase customer retention.
  • Oversee email subscriber list health by creating and monitoring engagement and cohort based segments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required.
  • 2+ years’ experience with email development with the core understanding of HTML/CSS best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and core email functionality (data extensions, measures, journeys, triggered emails, Einstein, etc.).
  • Experience with cross device / browser testing with sufficient coding abilities to resolve issues.
  • Proficiency with core Adobe Creative Suite apps.
  • Knowledge of email regulations, list health best practices, and compliance.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Ability to maintain a composed and professional demeanor while supporting a team-based work structure.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and provide complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
