About the Candidate:
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new clients in the assigned territory through business lead generation/cultivation, prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Conduct solution-focused presentations to key decision-makers to secure new business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with established accounts through regular in-person visits and proactive service
- Identify and implement timely solutions to service challenges, ensuring high client satisfaction
- Develop systems to promote client retention and foster long-term partnerships
- Leverage company tools, processes, and technologies to manage and expand the territory, document activities, and establish metrics for driving new business growth
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and IT teams to drive sales and optimize revenue growth within the territory
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 3+ years of consecutive experience in outside sales
- Proven background in service-based sales with expertise in:
- B2C and/or D2C environments
- Logistics and Delivery industry
- E-Commerce technology and marketplaces
- Strong skills in territory management, lead generation, negotiation, and client relationship management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with a CRM system is required, with a strong preference for Salesforce
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
