The Café Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving fresh smoothies, juices, and light take-out menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency. This role ensures a welcoming guest experience by maintaining excellent customer service, food quality, and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve smoothies, juices, and fresh take-out menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
  • Greet guests in a warm and professional manner, take orders efficiently, and process payments accurately.
  • Maintain product freshness by following proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures.
  • Ensure workstations, equipment, and café areas are kept clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Operate café equipment safely, including blenders, juicers, espresso machines (if applicable), and POS systems.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver prompt and courteous service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Support team members and assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a café, juice bar, or quick-service food environment preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Basic math and POS/cash handling skills.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching (up to 30 lbs).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-energy environment.
