His vision was that TherapySouth would be a therapist-owned practice, specializing in "hands-on care, close to a patient's home or work". All of our clinics maintain a friendly atmosphere that helps patients feel at home in their surroundings. Having several locations allows patients to conveniently attend physical therapy two to three times per week to improve their daily functions. TherapySouth is looking for a talented team-player for our Clinic Director position! If being mentored by an experienced team of specialists in a large outpatient ortho clinic interests you, please apply below! 

The Clinic Director is responsible for supervising and directing all activities/services for all areas within the clinic.  

Essential Functions:

  1. Ensure patient related documents are completed by the assigned time the following business day for the entire clinic. 
  2. Monitor and collaborate with staff to assess treatment effectiveness and individual patients’ progress. 
  3. Ensure services are in compliance with professional and clinical competency standards, as well as state and federal regulatory requirements. 
  4. Oversee the treatments, services, and reporting of patient cases. 
  5. Plan and direct the physical therapy program. 
  6. Manage work schedules, performance reviews, progressive disciplinary action and ongoing mentorship of staff. 
  7. Recruit and interview employees to provide qualified personnel for the clinic. 
  8. Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development. 
  9. Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards. 
  10. Train new employees and conduct monthly staff meetings. 
  11. Market the clinic and build/maintain relationships with referring physicians.
  12. Approve all timesheets and have them submitted to Corporate on payroll weeks
  13. Attend monthly Clinic Director meetings.
  14. Perform all essential functions of a Physical Therapist

 

Requirements: 

  • A master’s degree in an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program. 
  • A current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
  • Duties require extensive standing and walking.
  • Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients.
