MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) Expert to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This is an onsite position.Join the Navy's Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program and contribute to the evolution of warfighter readiness. We provide critical engineering and technical expertise for the U.S. Navy's premier Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training capability. Our work involves seamlessly integrating live training with synthetic systems to create highly realistic and complex global training environments. We also drive the development of advanced representations for joint, theater, and national systems, and model new weapons technologies and emerging threats, ensuring our forces are prepared for any challenge. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform duties as a Global Command and Control System Joint/ Maritime (GCCS-J/M) operator / engineerProvide expert technical evaluation of GCCS-J/M interoperability/ technical issues and recommendations to resolveAccess all relevant technical data related to GCCS-J/M systems configurations, including technical publications, drawings/models, and logistics data, and submit configuration changes based on equipment validations, maintenance planning and execution, data processing from end users, and alteration installersProvide Tier 3 engineering support for related GCCS-J/M systems when site administrators and personnel are unable to solve technical issues. Sustain, develop, and maintain tactical C4I baseline configurations within the NCTE enterpriseResponsible for the sustainment of GCCS-J/M systems through the Naval Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)Develop lessons learned, best practices, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP)Brief complex technical issues (including performance, cost, schedule, and risk implications) to decision-makersUp to 25% travel if necessaryMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent4+ years of hands-on experience with DoD network, Communications, and Electronics Projects in the following disciplines: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and TrainingHave a basic knowledge of the LVCSpecific experience with GCCS-J/M is requiredEngineering experience with the design, implementation, and maintenance of GCCS-J/M systems and their integration into the broader NCTE enterpriseHands-on operations experience as a GCCS-J/M operator, including creating and managing a Common Operational Picture (COP) and supporting tactical data link operations.Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).Preferred Qualifications:Multi-System Automated Remote Control Interface (MARCI)/NEXXUSExperience launching computer-based simulations and Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) events to enhance Fleet readinessExperience integrating live and synthetic training for ships and teams, including Final Battle Problems (FBP), Import Training Exercises (MITE), and certification eventsExperience utilizing Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), Tactical Data Links (TDL), and the Mission Distribution System (MDS) to create realistic operational scenariosExperience collaborating with multiple sites to execute Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) Program events and troubleshooting effortsExperience supporting the Distributed Training Architecture (DTA)/High Level Architecture (HLA)Clearance Requirements:Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under desks and in the server closet.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
