Summary:

We are seeking qualified applicants for the Substitute Registered Nurse (RN) position to provide coverage for absent School Nurses throughout the school district. 

Health Services Applicant Process

  • Qualified applicants will be contacted by the Director of Office of Special Services for an interview.
  • Upon recommendation for hire, candidates will be contacted by Human Resources to complete hiring paperwork, obtain fingerprints for a background check, and complete the required online Substitute New Hire Orientation.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Nursing and Washington State RN License
  • Ability to obtain a Washington State ESA Nurse Certificate and CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Completed application with reference surveys from three professional references (supervisors)
  • Unofficial transcripts for the application process; official transcripts required upon offer
